spring break. a week that can usually take students into a downward spiral can be an opportunity to grow in their relationship with God. We take students down to Florida & overseas to be apart of reaching out to others & sharing their faith.
STINT / internship. STINT stands for Short Term INTernational. Being apart of touching the 100 million students of the world by spending a year on campus in another country or here in the states. Imagine a team of friends spending a year taking the gospel to students who may have never heard the name Jesus Christ. Walk cobblestone streets in major cities of the world while discipling national believers who will carry on the message and the ministry after they leave. We invite graduates to have a direct impact on the world . . . a country . . . and a campus for years to come by touching the lives of a few students by taking a year on STINT or an internship here in the states and go to the world.

“turning lost & found students into Christ-centered laborers for a life-time.”

our ministry.
Each day we step on to campus. Sitting face-to-face with students, entering into their lives, to come alongside them wherever they are in their spiritual journey.
This looks very different day by day. Whether in a coffee shop on campus, in the dorms, playing frisbee golf, or walking across campus, we meet students where they are at-- trusting that God will use us in their lives to bring them closer to Him.

sharing Christ. multiple times a day we get to share the Good News of Christ with students who do not yet know Jesus. This starts with just getting to know them & moves on to addressing questions they have & seeing what the Bible has to say about who God is & what it means to know Him.
discipleship. meeting with believing students who have a desire to grow in their relationship with God. We believe discipleship is modeled in the Bible by Christ & others-- involves at least 3 key components; with our disciples we are building a friendship, teaching the Word of God, & ministering to others.
This is some of our favorite times as we have the opportunity to dig deep into their lives to help them fall more in love with Jesus.
Alanna asked Jesus into her heart fall of 2008!
Bible studies. coming together in a larger group, this time is a highlight for us & our students. Our desire is that the students would grow in their maturity in Christ through studying the Word, to be trained & equipped so that our students have the skills necessary to teach & minister to others and to have rich fellowship with other believers, where men & women are blessed by spending quality time together.
{ scott } junior & senior men meet at our house each Monday evening. We started out studying the book of Romans, challenging them to pour out their life by taking what they’ve learned & passing it onto others.
Throughout this time some of our training has included how to communicate their faith to others, how to accurately study the Word of God, how to share their personal story in a relevant way to others & how to strategically invest in others lives.
{ cru. } weekly meeting. in a large lecture hall on campus we meet as a movement. About 500 students attend this evening. Our time together includes hearing a personal story from a student about how God has changed their life, worship through music, hearing staff share from God’s Word & communicating what’s going on in our ministry so that students can get involved.
conferences & retreats. about once a semester we get away with the students to have a few days focused on growing in their relationship with God. We really see God use the time away from the business of campus life to work in their hearts & draw them closer to Himself.
This includes our fall retreat, Christmas Conference, Greek Conference, Every Student Sent & more!
outreaches. we have semester outreaches, were the students lead a campus-wide event to reach out to students who don’t know Jesus. We start out every year helping students move into their dorms & passing out “freshman survival kits” filled with CD’s, coupons, books & a Bible.
Some other outreaches have been bringing in a world famous illusionist, Andre Kole, “I agree with Sam” where we advertise one student who takes a public stand for his faith in Jesus Christ, & “EveryStudent.com” website.http://www.everystudent.com/shapeimage_30_link_0
